In the previous part of this series, we discussed AT&T’s (T) network performance in Sacramento, California. Now let’s take a glance at the latest network performances in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

According to the second half of 2017 RootScore report for Philadelphia, AT&T shared the top spot along with Verizon (VZ) and T-Mobile (TMUS) in the overall network performance category.

Sprint (S) ranked fourth place in overall network performance. AT&T earned a score of 96.6 for overall network performance in Philadelphia, compared with Verizon’s score of 97.1, T-Mobile’s score of 97.0, and Sprint’s score of 94.5.

According to the 2H17 RootScore report for Philadelphia, AT&T won or shared the top position in two network performance categories: overall performance and text performance. T-Mobile ranked first in the network speed and data performance categories. Verizon ranked first in the network reliability and call performance categories.

The report noted that the fastest median download and upload speeds of 38.3 Mbps and 17.5 Mbps, respectively, were registered by T-Mobile. Sprint’s median download speed increased from 9.3 Mbps in the first half of 2017 to 14.9 Mbps in the second half of 2017.
