In the previous part of this series, we discussed AT&T’s (T) network performance in the Seattle market. Now let’s look at its latest network performances in Oxnard, California.
According to the 2H17 RootScore report for Oxnard, AT&T won the top spot in the call performance category. Meanwhile, Verizon (VZ), T-Mobile (TMUS), and Sprint (S) shared the second place in the call performance category. AT&T earned scores of 99.9 for call performance in Oxnard compared with Verizon’s score of 97.4, T-Mobile’s score of 97.1, and Sprint’s 95.5.

According to the 2H17 RootScore report for Oxnard, AT&T won or shared the top spot across all six network performance categories such as overall performance, network speed, network reliability, call performance, data performance, and text performance.
Further, AT&T didn’t record any mobile-to-landline blocked or dropped calls during the testing. AT&T and T-Mobile recorded the fastest median download speeds at 20.5 Mbps and 18.7 Mbps, respectively. Meanwhile, Verizon’s median download speed fell from 21.4 Mbps to 10.4 Mbps in 2H17 as compared to the first half of 2017. AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon recorded the fastest median upload speeds with speeds in the range of 11.0 Mbps to 12.2 Mbps.
