First, Verizon has declared a dividend three times in 2020. On March 5, the company declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.6150 per share, which it distributed to shareholders on May 1. On Jun. 4, Verizon declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.6150 per share, which it paid on Aug. 3. In the first half of 2020, the company paid out a total of $5.1 billion in dividends.

Verizon’s latest dividend was declared on Sept. 3 for a dividend amount of $0.6275 per share, which the company plans to distribute on Nov. 2.
