
Word on Wall Street: 53% of Analysts Give E*TRADE a ‘Strong Buy’

Analysts’ views on ETFC
In May, E*TRADE Financial (ETFC) is tracked by 17 analysts. Nine analysts suggested a “strong buy” for ETFC, and two gave “hold” ratings. The remaining six analysts suggested a “buy” on E*TRADE Financial. These ratings are unchanged from April.
Of the 16 analysts that tracked E*TRADE Financial in March, two suggested a “hold,” and five rated the stock as a “buy.” The remaining nine analysts gave “strong buy” recommendations on E*TRADE Financial.
Ratings on competitors
Interactive Brokers Group (IBKR) is covered by seven analysts in May, of which three analysts suggested a “hold,” and two gave “strong buy” ratings. The remaining two analysts suggested a “strong sell” on Interactive Brokers. These ratings were unchanged from April.
Of six analysts that tracked IBKR in March, three rated it as a “hold,” and two suggested a “strong sell” on the stock. The remaining analyst gave a “strong buy” rating on Interactive Brokers.
In May, TD Ameritrade Holding (AMTD) is covered by 20 analysts. Eight analysts gave “strong buy” ratings, and six gave “hold” ratings on AMTD stock. One analyst recommended a “strong sell,” and five suggested a “buy” on TD Ameritrade stock.
