Higher dividends

In 2016, Prudential Financial (PRU) declared total dividends of $2.80 per share. In 2017, the company is expected to declare total dividends of $3.06 per share, reflecting a rise of ~9.3% from the total dividends declared in 2016.

In November 2016, Prudential Financial declared a quarterly dividend of $0.70 per share. However, in February 2017, the company declared a quarterly dividend of $0.75 per share, reflecting a rise of ~7.1% from the quarterly dividend declared in November 2016.

In May 2017, Prudential Financial declared a quarterly dividend of $0.75 per share, which was paid in June 2017. In August 2017, the company declared a quarterly dividend of $0.75 per share, which should be paid in September 2017.

Allstate (ALL) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.37 per share in July 2017, which should be paid in October 2017. The company is expected to declare total dividends of $1.47 per share in 2017, which reflects an ~14.0% increase from the total dividends declared in 2016.
