Amazon is the most valuable brand in 2019
Amazon (AMZN) has passed Apple and Google to become the most valuable brand in 2019, according to a report composed by WPP and Kantar. Amazon had a brand value of $315.5 billion, according to the report. The company’s brand value increased 52% YoY.
Apple and Google were second and third. Their brand value rose 3% and 2%, respectively, in 2019 to $309.5 billion and $309 billion, respectively.
Amazon had new revenue streams due to clever acquisitions. Amazon is a diverse company that offers several products and services tied together through its Prime membership. Amazon’s cloud infrastructure continues to grow at a very fast pace despite its size.
Instagram and Netflix
Facebook’s (FB) Instagram was the fastest riser in the top hundred in 2019. Instagram’s brand value rose 95% to $28.2 billion. However, Facebook lost 2% in brand value in 2019. Facebook stayed in sixth place with a brand value of $158.8 billion.
Netflix (NFLX) was the second-quickest riser in the top 100 in 2019. The company’s brand value rose 65% from the previous year to $34.29 billion.
Microsoft is the fourth-most valuable brand in 2019 with a brand value of $251.2 billion. The company’s brand value rose 25% from the previous year.
