
Charter or Comcast: Which Will See the Most Revenue Growth?

Charter’s revenue trend
Charter Communications’ (CHTR) net revenues in the first quarter of 2019 were $11.2 billion compared to $10.7 billion in the first quarter of 2018, which reflects 5.2% YoY growth.
Analysts expect Charter’s net revenues to change YoY by 5.0% to $11.4 billion in the second quarter, 5.3% to $11.5 billion in the third quarter, and 4.1% to $11.7 billion in the fourth quarter. Analysts also expect Charter’s net revenues to change YoY by 5.0% to $45.8 billion in fiscal 2019, 5.5% to $48.3 billion in fiscal 2020, and 4.5% to $50.5 billion in fiscal 2021.
Comcast’s revenue trend
Comcast’s (CMCSA) net revenues in the first quarter of 2019 were $26.9 billion compared to $22.8 billion in the first quarter of 2018, which reflects 17.8% YoY growth.
Analysts expect Comcast’s net revenues to change YoY by 26.3% to $27.5 billion in the second quarter, 26.0% to $27.9 billion in the third quarter, and 4.9% to $29.2 billion in the fourth quarter.
Analysts also expect Comcast’s net revenues to change YoY by 17.9% to $111.4 billion in fiscal 2019, 5.5% to $117.5 billion in fiscal 2020, and 3.1% to $121.1 billion in fiscal 2021.
