AT&T and T-Mobile’s Earnings Expectations

AT&T’s earnings trend

In the first quarter, AT&T (T) posted an adjusted EPS of $0.86—compared to $0.85 in the first quarter of 2018, which reflects 1.2% YoY (year-over-year) growth.

Analysts expect AT&T’s adjusted EPS to change YoY by -2.2% to $0.89 in the second quarter, 4.4% to $0.94 in the third quarter, and 3.5% to $0.89 in the fourth quarter.

Analysts also expect AT&T’s adjusted EPS to change YoY by 1.7% to $3.58 in fiscal 2019, 1.7% to $3.64 in fiscal 2020, and 0.0% to $3.64 in fiscal 2021.

T-Mobile’s earnings trend

In the first quarter, T-Mobile (TMUS) posted an adjusted EPS of $1.06—compared to $0.78 in the first quarter of 2018, which reflects 35.9% YoY growth.

Analysts expect T-Mobile’s adjusted EPS to change YoY by 4.3% to $0.96 in the second quarter, 10.8% to $1.03 in the third quarter, and 22.7% to $0.92 in the fourth quarter.

Analysts also expect T-Mobile’s adjusted EPS to change YoY by 17.6% to $3.95 in fiscal 2019, 17.2% to $4.63 in fiscal 2020, and 13.2% to $5.24 in fiscal 2021.
