Charter Communications (CHTR) is scheduled to report its first-quarter results on April 30. Analysts expect the company’s earnings to rise in the first quarter. Analysts expect Charter Communications’ adjusted EPS to reach $1.42 in the first quarter—compared to $0.70 in the first quarter of 2018. Analysts expect the company to report an adjusted EPS of $7.77 in fiscal 2019, $13.21 in fiscal 2020, and $20.02 in fiscal 2021.

In the fourth quarter of 2018, Charter Communications reported an adjusted EPS of $1.29—compared to $1.14 in the fourth quarter of 2017. The company’s adjusted EPS missed analysts’ consensus estimate by ~14.6% in the fourth quarter of 2018. Charter Communications’ adjusted net income grew significantly and reached $296 million in the fourth quarter of 2018—compared to $253 million in the fourth quarter of 2017.

Comcast’s (CMCSA) adjusted EPS is expected to increase ~6.5% YoY (year-over-year) to $0.66 in the first quarter. Dish Network’s (DISH) adjusted EPS is expected to fall ~5.7% YoY to $0.66.
