Cannabis Stocks: ACB, HEXO, OGRMF, and CGC Are in the Green




Today, Aurora Cannabis (ACB) was leading the gains among cannabis players, rising 3.2% as of 11:45 AM ET. HEXO (HEXO) wasn’t far behind with a gain of nearly 2.6%, followed by OrganiGram (OGRMF), which gained 1.6%. Canopy Growth (CGC)(WEED) was also inching higher with a gain of 0.31% in the first half of the day.

The Horizons Marijuana Life Sciences ETF (HMMJ) was nearly flat around noon, and the ETFMG Alternative Harvest ETF (MJ) was slightly lower, down 0.17%.

While there were few gainers in the cannabis sector, most stocks were in negative territory. Leading the pack was KushCo (KSHB), which was down about 2.5%, followed by Green Thumb Industries, which declined 2.5%, and Innovative Industrial Properties (IIPR), which lost 1.9%.

Aphria (APHA) was also trading in the red today with its stock falling 1.9% while Tilray (TLRY) was down 0.8%. Tilray recovered from its pre-market lows after it received a bearish rating from Jefferies. See Tilray Stock Sinks after Jefferies Gives It ‘Underperform’ Rating.

CannTrust (CTST) was also in the negative with a loss of about 1.4% during the first half of the day.
