OKE, VNOM, and NGL: Top MLP and Midstream Gains Last Week

Top gains

Hi-Crush Partners (HCLP), Viper Energy Partners (VNOM), and Dorchester Minerals (DMLP) were among the top MLP gainers last week. Hi-Crush Partners rose 16.8% last week. Hi-Crush Partners has fallen ~70% from its high in July. Concerns about low frac sand demand growth and distribution suspension impacted the stock. Viper Energy Partners and Dorchester Minerals rose 8.5% and 7.5%, respectively, last week.

The above graph shows the top MLP and midstream gains last week. NGL Energy Partners (NGL) rose 7.4% for the week. The stock is trading at a high yield of ~14.1%.

EnLink Midstream Partners (ENLK), another MLP trading at a high yield, rose 7.4%. EnLink Midstream (ENLC), the company’s GP, is expected to close the acquisition of EnLink Midstream Partners in the first quarter. EnLink Midstream rose 6.5% last week.

DCP Midstream Partners (DCP) and USA Compression Partners (USAC) rose 6.3% and 5.9%, respectively, last week.

ONEOK rose 5.7%

ONEOK (OKE) rose 5.7% last week. The company announced a 0.6% sequential rise in its fourth-quarter dividends. The stock is trading at a yield of ~5.4%. ONEOK has risen 17.1% year-to-date.
