T-Mobile’s overall network performance in Orlando
Previously in this series, we looked at T-Mobile’s (TMUS) network performance in Seattle, Washington. Now let’s look at the latest network performances in Orlando. According to the first half of 2018 RootScore report for Orlando, T-Mobile shared the top spot along with Verizon (VZ) in the overall network performance category. AT&T (T) and Sprint (S) shared third place in overall network performance.
T-Mobile earned scores of 98.1 for overall network performance in Orlando compared with Verizon’s score of 97.9, Sprint’s score of 95.7, and AT&T’s score of 95.1.
T-Mobile’s network performance
According to the first half of 2018 RootScore report for Orlando, T-Mobile won or shared the top spot in all six network performance categories: data performance, text performance, overall performance, network reliability, network speed, and call performance.
According to the report, T-Mobile had the fastest median download and upload speeds of 35.7 Mbps and 15.0 Mbps, respectively. AT&T’s median download speed increased from 17.5 Mbps (megabits per second) in the second half of 2017 to 22.7 Mbps in the first half of 2018.
In addition, neither Sprint nor Verizon registered any mobile-to-mobile blocked calls during testing in the first half of 2018.
