HPE’s Revenue Is Estimated to Rise 6% in Fiscal 2018

Revenue expected to be $30.62 billion in fiscal 2018

Earlier, we learned that analysts expect Hewlett Packard Enterprises’ (HPE) revenue to rise 2.4% YoY (year-over-year) to $7.68 billion in the fiscal third quarter of 2018. Analysts have estimated 1.2% YoY revenue growth in the fiscal fourth quarter as well, implying revenue growth of 6% for HPE in fiscal 2018.

Analysts also expect the company’s revenue to rise 0.7% YoY to $30.84 billion in fiscal 2019 and over 2% YoY to $31.48 billion in fiscal 2020. Revenue growth for Cisco (CSCO), Juniper (JNPR), IBM (IBM), and Pure Storage (PSTG) is expected to come in at 1.5%, -6%, 1.5%, and 32.4%, respectively, in their current fiscal years.

EPS expected to rise 13.6% in fiscal 2018

HPE’s revenue is estimated to rise 6% from $28.9 billion in 2017 to $30.62 billion in fiscal 2018. In comparison, earnings per share are estimated to rise 52% from $0.96 in 2017 to $1.46 in 2018.

HPE’s revenue in 2019 is expected to grow at 0.7% YoY to $30.84 billion compared to earnings growth of 5.5%. The company is estimated to post revenue of $31.48 billion in 2020, a rise of approximately 3% YoY.

HPE’s EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization) are expected to rise 3.7% in 2019 and 4.6% in 2020.
