To provide a streamlined solution, Microsoft has enhanced its Skype technology, integrating many of its important features, including voice, instant messaging, collaboration, and analytics tools such as Power BI to appeal to corporate clients. The integration has boosted Skype for Business Online’s momentum.
The IT giant’s focus on streamlining has revived its enterprise service revenue, as shown in the graph above. The industry remains very competitive and is always changing with new product launches. IBM’s (IBM) blockchain and Oracle’s (ORCL) fully automated database platforms may beef up competition. Microsoft’s one-stop solution is aimed at making the company more competitive.
