Analysts’ ratings on Visa

Visa (V) is covered by 37 analysts in May. Of the analysts, 15 recommend a “strong buy,” four recommend a “hold,” and 18 recommend a “buy.” The stock didn’t have any “strong sell” or “sell” ratings.

Of 38 analysts that covered Visa in April, four recommended a “hold,” 18 recommended a “buy,” and 16 recommended a “strong buy.”

Analysts rate Visa’s peers

Synchrony Financial (SYF) is covered by 24 analysts in May. Six analysts recommend a “hold,” nine recommend a “strong buy,” one recommends a “sell,” and eight recommend a “buy.”

Of 22 analysts that covered Synchrony Financial in April, eight recommended a “strong buy,” five recommended a “hold,” one recommended a “sell,” and eight recommended a “buy.”

In May, Visa’s peer (XLF), Total System Services (TSS) is tracked by 24 analysts. Of the analysts, 11 recommend a “hold,” one recommends a “strong sell,” six recommend a “strong buy,” and six recommend a “buy.”

In May, Fiserv (FISV) is tracked by 21 analysts. Of the analysts, three recommend a “strong buy,” 13 recommend a “hold,” and five recommend a “buy.”
