Nokia X expected to launch on April 27

Nokia (NOK) has a device licensing agreement with China’s (FXI) HMD Global. Nokia and BlackBerry (BB) have outsourced their smartphone manufacturing businesses to third-party producers in China and Southeast Asia. Nokia generates revenue through royalties and licensing agreements.

There have been reports of HMD Global releasing the Nokia X on April 27, after digital posters were seen in China. There has been no official confirmation.

Nokia 6 available in the United States

A revamped Nokia 6 is available for purchase through Amazon (AMZN) and Best Buy (BBY). The latest Nokia 6 version is priced at $269, up from the earlier purchase price of $199. It now comes with several upgrades and features. The Nokia 6 has a higher screen-to-body ratio, while the fingerprint sensor is now below the camera system.

Nokia claims this phone offers additional battery power as well as faster charging.

Nokia launches 3 smartphones in India

HMD Global also unveiled the Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia Sirocco, and new Nokia 6 in India recently.

In late 2017, Nokia also announced a multiyear smartphone patent-licensing agreement with Huawei. Nokia has patent-licensing agreements with smartphone manufacturers including Apple, LG, and Xiaomi.
