Overall network performance of Sprint in Omaha
In the previous part of this series, we discussed Sprint’s (S) network performance in San Jose, California. Now let’s take a look at the latest network performances in Omaha, Nebraska.
According to the second half of 2017 RootScore report for Omaha, Sprint shared the top spot along with AT&T (T) and Verizon (VZ) in the overall network performance category. T-Mobile (TMUS) ranked fourth place in overall network performance.
Sprint earned a score of 97.0 for overall network performance in Omaha, compared with AT&T’s score of 97.5, Verizon’s score of 97.2, and T-Mobile’s score of 85.7.
Sprint’s network performance
According to the 2H17 RootScore report for Omaha, Sprint won or shared the top position in four network performance categories: overall performance, network reliability, call performance, and text performance. AT&T ranked first in the network speed and data performance categories.
The fastest median download speed of 43.2 Mbps was registered by T-Mobile, and the fastest median upload speed of 10.9 Mbps was registered by Verizon. Verizon registered zero mobile-to-mobile blocked calls.
T-Mobile’s rate of mobile-to-landline blocked calls improved from 20.9% in the first half of 2017 to 5.2% in the second half of 2017. T-Mobile’s rate of mobile-to-mobile blocked calls improved from 28.7% to 10.3%. T-Mobile’s rate of mobile-to-landline dropped calls improved from 4.3% to 2.6%.
