Overall network performance of AT&T in Seattle

According to the 2H17 RootScore report for Seattle, T-Mobile (TMUS) shared the top spot with AT&T (T) in the overall network performance category. Meanwhile, Verizon (VZ) took third place in overall network performance, whereas Sprint (S) came in fourth place. AT&T earned scores of 98.1 for overall performance in Seattle compared with T-Mobile’s score of 97.6, Verizon’s score of 97.1, and Sprint’s 95.9.

Based on the 2H17 RootScore report for Seattle, AT&T won or shared the top spot across network performance categories such as overall performance, network reliability, data performance, call performance, and text performance. Meanwhile, T-Mobile came in at the top spot in the network speed category.
Further, AT&T’s median download speed improved from 21.4 Mbps (megabits per second) to 30.5 Mbps in 2H17 as compared to 1H17. AT&T and T-Mobile recorded the fastest median download speeds of 30.5 Mbps and 30.0 Mbps, respectively. Meanwhile, Verizon and Sprint’s median download speed fell to 16.5 Mbps and 18.4 Mbps, respectively. T-Mobile recorded the fastest median upload speed of 14.8 Mbps during testing. Additionally, Sprint’s rate of mobile-to-mobile blocked calls improved from 4.1% to 0.9%.
