AT&T’s network reliability in Tucson
In the previous part of this series, we discussed AT&T’s (T) network performance in Charlotte, North Carolina. Now let’s look at its latest network performance in Tucson, Arizona.
Based on the 2H17 RootScore report for Tucson, AT&T shared the top spot along with Verizon (VZ) in the network reliability category. Meanwhile, T-Mobile (TMUS) and Sprint (S) shared the third place in network reliability. AT&T earned scores of 98.7 for network reliability in Tucson compared with Verizon’s score of 98.7, T-Mobile’s score of 97.1, and Sprint’s score of 96.5.

According to the 2H17 RootScore report for Tucson, AT&T won or shared the top spot across all six network performance categories such as overall performance, network speed, network reliability, call performance, data performance, and text performance.
Further, AT&T recorded the fastest median download speed at 30.0 Mbps in 2H17 as compared to 19.5 Mbps in the first half of 2017. Meanwhile, AT&T’s median upload speed rose from 5.0 Mbps to 8.2 Mbps. T-Mobile recorded the fastest median upload speed of 14.5 Mbps during testing. Meanwhile, Verizon didn’t record any mobile-to-landline blocked calls during the testing, whereas T-Mobile’s rate of mobile-to-landline blocked calls improved from 1.6% to 0.1%.
