Anadarko Petroleum’s Oil Volume Growth Forecasts

Growth forecasts in the DJ and Delaware Basins

Anadarko Petroleum (APC) expects to double its production from the DJ and Delaware Basins to at least 600 Mboepd (thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day) by 2021 from the current 280 Mboepd. It has already accelerated its activity in these two regions by adding two rigs to each region after its Gulf of Mexico asset acquisition.

Anadarko Petroleum noted that the acquisition adds ~80,000 net Boepd (barrels of oil equivalent per day) to its production volumes, more than 80% of which consists of oil (UCO).

Assuming a $50–$60 oil price environment, APC expects to see a compounded annual growth rate of 10%–12% in its oil volumes over the next five years.
