Key operational highlights in 3Q16
Notably, the Delaware and DJ basins, APC’s key focus areas, contributed a combined production of 38% to Anadarko Petroleum’s total 3Q16 production. The company noted in its 3Q16 earnings conference that it will “continue accelerating our activities in the Delaware, the DJ as well as growing the Gulf of Mexico in an effort to improve the production and the investment of our company.”
The acquisition adds ~80,000 net Boepd (barrels of oil equivalent per day) to its production volumes—more than 80% of which consists of oil (USO).
