The top ten institutional investors in Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) stock own nearly 45% of the company’s outstanding shares. The number of EPD shares owned by four of the top ten institutional investors fell, according to the latest filings. This included a net sale of 2.5 million shares by Randa Duncan Williams, a net sale of 2.5 million shares by Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, and a net sale of 8.2 million shares by Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

By comparison, Tortoise Capital Advisors, Harvest Fund Advisors, and Alps Advisors added 0.9 million, 2.4 million, and 4.1 million EPD shares, respectively, to their positions.

Institutional activity in MMP shares

The number of MMP shares owned by four of the top ten institutional investors fell, according to the latest filings. Notably, OFI SteelPath added 5.8 million MMP shares to its position.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management added 4.4 million Plains All American Pipeline (PAA) shares to its position, according to the latest filing. Goldman Sachs Asset Management is one of the top five institutional investors in PAA.

Institutional activity in WPZ shares

The top ten institutional investors in Williams Partners stock own nearly 79% of the company’s outstanding shares. This includes ~58% of WPZ’s outstanding shares held by Williams Companies (WMB).

There was a net positive change in ownership positions, with OFI SteelPath, Harvest Fund Advisors, and Tortoise Capital Advisors adding 2.4 million, 1.8 million, and 4.5 million WPZ shares, respectively, to their positions. At the same time, Fidelity Management & Research Company’s net position in WPZ fell 9.1 million shares.
