NiSource (NI) has returned a massive 56% in the last 12 months. It has rallied by more than 50% in the last year. It’s also paid a $0.62 per share dividend in the last year. However, NiSource trimmed its dividends by 40% in 3Q15.
By comparison, peer Pinnacle West Capital Group (PNW) has returned more than 30%, while Eversource Energy (ES) has returned nearly the same in the last year. Total returns consider capital gains plus dividend income in a specific period.
