Anadarko’s Profit Margin and Revenue Trends: The Inside Scoop

Anadarko’s revenue and net profit margin growth

Anadarko Petroleum’s (APC) 1Q16 revenue fell by ~35% YoY (year-over-year). In comparison, its YoY revenue growth was -54% in 1Q15 and -33% in 4Q15.

In comparison, Anadarko’s upstream peers Apache (APA) and Continental Resources (CLR) saw YoY revenue growths of -35% and -27%, respectively, in 1Q16. APA and APC make up 5.1% of the Guggenheim S&P 500 Equal Weight Energy ETF (RYE).

APC also saw a fall in its net profit margin. In 1Q16, it was -44%. In comparison, it was -154% in 1Q15 and -96% in 4Q15.
