What Happened to T-Mobile’s Network Performance Improves in Raleigh in 1H16?

According to the 1st Half 2016 Metro Area RootScore Report for Raleigh, T-Mobile’s (TMUS) overall network performance position improved over its previous RootMetrics performance for 2H15.

According to the same report, AT&T (T) and T-Mobile shared first place in the overall network performance category in Raleigh. In the RootMetrics report for 2H15 for the same market, AT&T and T-Mobile took first and third place, respectively, in this metric. Verizon Communications (VZ) and Sprint (S) took second and fourth place, respectively, in network performance in Raleigh in 2H15 but placed third and fourth, respectively, in the most recent 1H16 RootMetrics report.

Network speed in Raleigh

According to the 1st Half 2016 Metro Area RootScore Report for Raleigh, the AT&T’s and Sprint’s respective ranks of first and fourth place in network speed remained the same as in 2H15. T-Mobile and Verizon took first and third places, respectively, in network speed in Raleigh in the latest 1H16 RootMetrics report, whereas in 2H15, T-Mobile and Verizon shared second place in this metric.

For diversified exposure to T-Mobile, you might consider investing in the PowerShares QQQ (QQQ). T-Mobile accounted for ~0.7% of QQQ at the end of May 2016.
