The rating scale ranges from one to five, where one means a “strong sell” and five means a “strong buy.” Also, we’ll see how many analysts rate each stock as “buy,” “sell,” and “hold.”

Teekay Tankers

Teekay Tankers (TNK) has a Wall Street analyst consensus rating of 4.5, or a “buy.” Out of the 13 analysts who gave recommendations, ten gave it a “buy,” three gave it a “hold,” and none gave it a “sell” recommendation.

TNK’s average 12-month price target is $10.19 against its market price of $6.83 as of December 28, 2015, implying a return of 37.7%.

Tsakos Energy Navigation

Tsakos Energy Navigation (TNP) has a Wall Street analyst consensus rating of 4.93, or a “strong buy.” All of the 14 analysts that cover the stock gave it a “buy” recommendation. TNP’s average 12-month price target is $13.77 against its price of $7.28 as of December 28, implying a return of 89.1%.

Nordic American Tanker

Nordic American Tanker (NAT) has a consensus rating of 3.89, or a “buy.” Out of the nine analysts who gave recommendations, four gave it a “buy,” and five gave it a “hold.” None of the analysts gave it a “sell.” NAT’s average 12-month price target is $16.83 against its price of $14.71 as of December 28, implying a return of 14.4%

DHT Holdings

DHT Holdings (DHT) has a Wall Street analyst consensus rating of 4.61, or a “strong buy.” Out of the 18 analysts who gave recommendations, 17 analysts gave it a “buy,” one gave it a “hold,” and none gave it a “sell.”

The stock’s average 12-month price target is $11.06 against its market price of $8.03 as of December 28, implying a return of 37.7%.

Euronav

Euronav (EURN) has an analyst consensus rating of 4.86, or a “strong buy.” Out of the 21 analysts who gave recommendations, 20 analysts gave it a “buy,” and one gave it a “hold.” None of the analysts gave it a “sell” recommendation.

EURN’s average 12-month price target is $19.14 against a market price of $13.19 as of December 28, implying a return of 45.1%
