Domino’s performance in 3Q15

Domino’s reported net revenue of $484.7 million in 3Q15—a rise of 8.5% compared to net revenue of $446.6 million in 3Q14. The net revenue from domestic companies, domestic franchises, supply chain, and international franchises rose by 11.3%, 14.5%, 7.5%, and 2% in 3Q15 compared to the revenue in 3Q14. The company opened 225 new stores around the world, including one domestic company-owned store, 23 domestic franchise stores, and 201 international stores in 3Q15. The net income and EPS (earnings per share) rose to $37.8 million and $0.67 per share—a rise of 6.2% and 6.3% compared to the net income and EPS in 3Q14. The revenue fell by 0.8% in 3Q15 compared to the revenue in 2Q15. The cash and cash equivalents rose by 25.5% in 3Q15. The current ratio fell 1.4 in 3Q15 compared to the current ratio of 1.5 in 3Q14.

On June 8, 2015, the company opened its first store in Portugal in order to expand its market.

On July 7, 2015, Domino’s launched an app for the Apple Watch to track orders from anywhere and at any time.

On August 3, 2015, the company opened its 12,000th store in the world.
