Crown Holdings’ performance in 3Q15

The company reported net revenue of $2,460 million in 3Q15—a rise of 8% compared to the net revenue of $2,278 million in 2Q15. The revenue from North America food, European beverage, and European food fell by 17.6%, 1.2%, and 30.2%, respectively. The revenue from Americas beverage and Asia-Pacific fell by 2.6% and 3.2% in 3Q15. The net income rose to $160 million and the EPS (earnings per share) fell to $1.01 per share in 3Q15—compared to the net income and EPS of $153 million and $1.02 per share in 2Q15. The current ratio rose by 2.6%. The long-term debt-to-equity ratio fell by 7.8% in 3Q15.

On July 15, 2015, CROWN Aerosol Packaging North America—a business unit of Crown Holdings—announced its achievement certifying to the Safe Quality Food Level 2 code at their Faribault, Minnesota, and Alsip, Illinois, plants.

On September 25, the company invested in a second line at its Osmaniye plant, in central southern Turkey, to produce aluminum beverage cans.
