Salesforce announced a partnership with Accenture

Salesforce.com (CRM) announced a collaboration with Accenture (ACN. Both companies share an equal passion about wearable technology ruling the market in the future. The partnership will involve delivering customization and implementation services and solutions to customers keen on wearable devices.

Both companies believe that apart from the use of wearable technologies in fitness, health monitoring, and fashion, they’d be immensely helpful on an enterprise level. Sensing the fashion of wearables, Intel (INTC), along with Opening Ceremony, has launched a smart fashion wearable bracelet called MICA.

Forrester Research Inc. announced Accenture as a leader in Salesforce.com implementation services in its 2013 evaluation.

The Salesforce.com Wear cloud platform increased compatibility

Wearable technology could create the next mobile revolution

Diginomica expects the wearable device market to be worth $18 billion by 2019. It’s expected to become an integral part of the enterprise mobile strategy over the next five years. Gartner also expects that wearable devices will drive 50% of total mobile app interactions.
