The size of the fund’s 1Q14 portfolio was slightly increased to $6.17 billion from $5.6 billion in 4Q13. The fund initiated new positions in Cadence Design Systems (CDNS), McDonald’s Corp. (MCD), Restoration Hardware Holding (RH), and Ralph Lauren Corp. (RL). It sold shares in Advance Auto Parts Inc. (AAP) and Monster Beverage Corp. (MNST). Recent 13Gs filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (or SEC) noted that Eminence boosted its positions in Fossil Group (FOSL) and Allscripts Healthcare Solutions (MDRX).
