In 2013, Cooperman’s Omega Advisors reported net returns of 30%, following up on a 25% net gain in 2012. Cooperman told CNBC in an
last October that the stock market was valued fairly but not a bargain anymore. He added, “As an investor, I think the market is reasonably valued. I have to kind of work hard and find stocks and macro themes.”
The firm’s 4Q13 purchases include Gaming and Leisure Properties (GLPI), SunEdison Inc. (SUNE), T-Mobile US Inc. (TMUS), and Cameron International Corp. (CAM). Its sales include Polycom (PLCM) and Atmel Corp. (ATML).
