The most anticipated sale of the year is almost here — of course, we’re talking about Black Friday. While companies like Amazon began advertising deals comparable to those you might find on Black Friday in September (Amazon will hold its Prime Early Access sale on Oct. 11–12), most can agree there is nothing like a true Black Friday sale.

Although retailers seem to be keeping the details regarding their plans for the day following Thanksgiving under wraps, at least until their “pre-Black Friday sales” have passed, here’s an estimated timeline for when you can expect 2022 Black Friday ads to come out.

Walmart

In 2021, Walmart held its second annual Deals for Days sale ahead of Black Friday. While it isn’t clear if the retailer will revive the sale for a third year, Walmart may drop its 2022 Black Friday ad on Nov. 12, 2022, so keep your eyes and ears open for updated information.

As you know, Walmart’s Black Friday sale is nothing to sleep on as it often puts some of the most coveted items of the year on sale.

Target

Target hasn’t announced when its 2022 Black Friday ad will make its debut, though we suspect it will drop sometime around Nov. 14 or 15. Until then, Target has amped up its competitive side to offer weeklong Black Friday deals, which are available now through Thanksgiving week.

Target’s Weeklong Black Friday Deals event will feature up to 50 percent off new and trending items. During its pre-Black Friday sale, the retailer is also offering a Deal of the Day. So, if you’re in the market for kitchen appliances, electronics, or toys, you’ll want to check out Target’s ongoing sale and keep your eyes peeled for its 2022 Black Friday ad.

Best Buy

Best Buy is expected to release its 2022 Black Friday ad on or around Nov. 15. While the retailer will be keeping its doors closed on Thanksgiving for the third year in a row, reports Axios, that doesn’t mean it won’t deliver some pretty exciting sales.

But you won’t have to wait until Black Friday to score deals on some of Best Buy’s inventory as the retailer is kicking the holiday season off with a 48-hour flash sale which is slated to start on Oct. 11, the same day Amazon’s Prime Early Access sale debuts.

Home Depot

Home Depot will begin offering Black Friday deals on Oct. 31, though we predict it won’t drop its actual 2022 Black Friday ad until Nov. 15.

Amazon

If you’re an avid Amazon shopper and are anxiously waiting for the e-commerce giant to release its 2022 Black Friday ad, you may have to wait until Nov. 16 to view it. It’s also likely Amazon will offer pre-Black Friday deals weeks before the event just as it has done in the past.

Lowe’s

Do you need some household hardware or appliances? Lowe’s Black Friday ad is expected to drop sometime around Nov. 18.

Kohl’s

Last year, Kohl’s launched a Black Friday preview sale on Nov. 5, so we suspect the retailer will unveil its 2022 ad around the same time.

Ulta

Ulta will likely drop its 2022 Black Friday ad on Nov. 15, which will give you ample time to preview it and decide what items you’ll be adding to your holiday shopping list.

Sam’s Club

In 2021, Sam’s Club released its Black Friday sales ad around Oct. 21 and we suspect the retail warehouse club may follow the same timeline this year.
