The Vanguard Information Technology ETF (VGT) tracks a market-cap–weighted portfolio of US technology companies. It tracks the performance of 382 publicly listed companies in the technology sector. VGT’s market capitalization is $7.7 billion with an expense ratio of 0.12%. Average daily volume of shares traded is $39.8 million. VGT’s PE (price-to-earnings) ratio is 18.72x. Its PB (price-to-book) ratio and distribution yield are 3.73x and 2.0%, respectively.

VGT’s top five holdings are Apple (AAPL) at 15.4%, Microsoft (MSFT) at 8.4%, Facebook Class A Shares (FB) at 4.7%, Google Class A (GOOGL) at 4.7%, and Google Class C (GOOG) at 4.6%. These companies make up more than 37% of VGT’s total portfolio. Apple accounts for 14.0% of the iShares S&P Global Information Tech. ETF (IXN) as well.

In the trailing one month, net fund inflows for the Vanguard Information Technology ETF (VGT) were $61.5 million. In the trailing 12-month (or TTM) period, net fund inflows were $1.3 billion. VGT’s fund flows in the trailing one week and trailing three months (quarterly) were $13.1 million and $153.6 million, respectively. Since August 3, 2015, VGT has been trading consistently below its moving averages. Since then, net fund inflows have been $93.7 million.
