Investors should be on the lookout for the following key economic indicators this week:
- The German ZEW Economic Sentiment Index
- The Eurozone ZEW Economic Sentiment Index
- Eurozone consumer confidence
- Eurozone inflation
- UK inflation
- German Ifo Business Climate Index
The Eurozone’s economy has been playing a major role in the current global economic scenario. The improvement in its fundamental factors is improving investors’ confidence in the economy. The valuation of the Eurozone equity market also looks very attractive, so investors could find good opportunities there.
If the above Eurozone indicators show improved figures in the coming days, then we might see further improvement in major Eurozone indexes. The Vanguard FTSE Europe ETF (VGK) and the iShares Europe ETF (IEV), which track the performance of the Eurozone (N100-INDEX), have risen 1.3% and 1.2%, respectively, so far in March 2018.
