The following major indicators were released last week:

  • Eurozone (VGK) (IEV) (EZU) consumer confidence
  • US (SPY) (QQQ) consumer sentiment
  • Eurozone ZEW economic sentiment
  • Germany ZEW economic sentiment
  • UK (EWU) inflation
  • US (IWM) retail sales
  • US inflation
  • Eurozone inflation

Series overview

In this series, we’ll analyze the performance of the Eurozone Consumer Confidence Index and the ZEW Economic Sentiment Index both for the Eurozone and Germany in October 2017.

We’ll also analyze US inflation, UK inflation, and Eurozone inflation in September 2017. Both the US and Europe inflation figures showed strong improvement. We’ll also have a look at US retail sales in September 2017 and the US Consumer Sentiment Index in October 2017.

In the next part of this series, we’ll analyze US inflation in September 2017.
