  • Ford Escort sales rose to 13,173 units, a rise of 15% from February 2015.
  • Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC) sales rose to 14,054 units, a rise of 3% from February 2015.

Year-to-date sales of first two months

  • Ford sales rose to 194,182 units, a rise of 18% compared to the prior year period.
  • CAF sales rose to 160,119 units, a rise of 29% compared to the prior year period.
  • JMC sales fell to 31,309 units, a fall of 13% compared to the prior year period.

Ford’s sales in February 2016

Sales by brand:

  • Ford Motor reported total vehicle sales of 217,192 units, a rise of 20.4% from February 2015.
  • Ford brand sales rose to 209,153 units, a rise of 20.1% from February 2015.
  • Lincoln brand sales rose to 8,039 units, a rise of 30.4% from February 2015.

Sales by type:

  • Car sales rose to 66,613 units, a rise of 18.8% from February 2015.
  • Utility vehicle sales rose to 70,328 units, a rise of 29.2% from February 2015.
  • Truck sales rose to 80,251 units, a rise of 14.8% from February 2015.

Ford Truck and Ford Motor Company Fund are working with Texas FFA Association to sponsor the automaker’s “Driving Skills for Life” program to encourage safe driving habits among teenagers throughout Texas.
