If you are up for an adventure, or just need a change in your life, you may be interested in seasonal jobs with housing. Perhaps you need employment — and a place to stay — during school breaks. Maybe you want a break from the corporate routine, and you want to broaden your horizons. Or maybe you’re just looking for an excuse to explore a new location!
Luckily, a variety of online resources connect workers with seasonal opportunities — and many of the opportunities listed on those sites come with housing.
The internet is full of rave reviews from people who loved working seasonal jobs.
“When I turned 25, I decided that despite my college degree, I was going to find a job that would allow me to get the heck outta dodge. I ended up landing a job in southeast Alaska as an office assistant for an excursion company for the summer,” The Outbound’s Amber Locke writes. “In the end, nothing prepared me for the experience I had by venturing out of my little bubble in the southeastern U.S.”
WanderJobs only lets companies post seasonal job listings if they offer staff housing.
To post a seasonal job on WanderJobs, employers must offer staff housing to at least half of their employees. “That means that if you are accepted for a position posted here, you’ll be living and working with a team of coworkers somewhere beautiful, having the adventure of a lifetime!” the site adds.
