Double-digit Enterprise Software & Services billings growth expected in fiscal 2019

BlackBerry (BB) expects its total Enterprise Software & Services segment’s billings to report double-digit growth in fiscal 2019. The company expects this revenue growth to reach 8.0%–10.0%. The company expects to post non-GAAP profitability this year. It also expects to deliver free cash flow after excluding the impact of restructuring charges and legal proceedings.

The BlackBerry Technology Solutions (or BTS) segment is expected to generate double-digit growth for the rest of fiscal 2019. The company clarified that its BTS revenues could be closer to 20.0% year-over-year rather than the 30.0% growth reported in the last few quarters.

BlackBerry’s Licensing unit’s revenues are expected to be better than forecast, and its Enterprise unit’s revenues are expected to grow sequentially in fiscal 2019.

Analysts expect revenues of $891.82 million in fiscal 2019

Analysts expect BlackBerry’s (BB) revenues to fall 7.8% year-over-year to $891.82 million in fiscal 2019. BlackBerry is expected to return to revenue growth in fiscal 2020 with estimated sales of $956.0 million. Analysts expect the company’s revenues to rise to $1.05 billion in fiscal 2021.

Analysts expect BlackBerry to post non-GAAP EPS of $0.11 in fiscal 2019, down from $0.14 in fiscal 2018. Its earnings per share are expected to rise to $0.18 in fiscal 2020. Analysts expect BlackBerry’s EPS to rise at a CAGR (compound annual growth rate) of 23.8% over the next five years.
