Also, in the same period, ExxonMobil’s (XOM), Chevron’s (CVX), and Royal Dutch Shell’s (RDS.A) short interest rose by 8%, 37%, and 9%, respectively. Their stock prices rose by 14%, 13%, and 17%, respectively, since April.
