Costco, the wholesale retailer, is loved by Americans for its low prices, excellent customer service, and its in-house brand Kirkland Signature, which includes organic foods, the famous rotisserie chicken, and more. While Costco's meal combos like a $1.50 hot dog and soda are pretty famous, certain food items like the Pad Thai didn't particularly sit well with the consumers. Here's a look at the food items available in Costco that people regretted buying.

1. Cinnamon Rolls

According to one Reddit thread, Cinnamon Rolls by Kirkland Signature is one of the worst Kirkland Signature products. "The bakery cinnamon rolls are dry as hell. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, they make me feel like an anaconda choking down a beach towel." writes one user, to which another said, "My store has never had cinnamon rolls for me to hate." Having said that not all hated the cinnamon rolls, one user wrote, "My wife loves them. She also doesn’t like sweets, so that tracks. The SOBs are cinnamon biscuits."

2. Sliced Turkey 3 Pack

According to another Reddit thread, the Kirkland sliced turkey 3 pack tastes "slimy and gross"."I thought it was bad but have seen other people complain about it and I think it’s just how it comes," wrote a user. Another user replied to the first comment saying, "To be honest, I've never had a single good experience with any pre-packaged deli meat. I just bite the bullet and pay for the deli counter stuff. Boar's Head is worth the price."

3. Caesar Salad

In another Reddit post, a user talked about how the Caesar salad is "not flavorful" and said how it's just plain bad even after the dressing. However, it wasn't always like this. According to another Reddit user, "The Caesar salad used to be my favorite thing from Costco, but I’ve found it seems to have changed over the last year and doesn’t taste as fresh/good anymore… the quality of the lettuce can be hit/miss, the cheese doesn’t seem to be fresh and gets wet/soggy from the lettuce, and the dressing also seems to be less tasty."

4. Fresh Taco Kit

According to one comment on the same Reddit post, "The fresh taco kit was awful and absurdly expensive for how basic it is." A second user took to the comment to agree with it, writing, "Agreed, I used to assemble those things and wondered who would waste their money on that crap. Along with several of the other premade deli items." Another user talked about how they thought they were paying, "$5 for a tray of tacos for like a year before I realized it was usually $15."

5. Animal Crackers

A different Reddit post shared the product's picture and talked about how it's back in the NYC stores. However, many took to the post to write how their kids don't seem to enjoy them. "Am I the only one who thinks these are not good?" read one comment, to which another wrote, "You, me, and my 3-year-old who won’t touch them. I used to love animal crackers when I was a boy. These aren’t the same." Another user simply wrote, "Don't like them, cheap cookies. I was brought up on cheap cookies, not a fan!"
