In a world where leadership and empowerment go hand in hand, Tamiko W. Bailey stands as a beacon of inspiration. As the President and CEO of Bailey’s Premier Services, a multi-state defense contracting firm, Tamiko has built a company rooted in excellence, discipline, and service.
But beyond her business success, she is a champion for women's empowerment, using her platform to mentor, inspire, and pave the way for future generations of women in aviation, defense, and business.
A Legacy of Service and Leadership
Tamiko Bailey’s journey began in the United States Air Force, where she served as a service-disabled veteran in an F-15/F-16 squadron. Her career took her across the globe, including two tours of duty in Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Southern Watch — No Fly Zone.
These early experiences instilled in her a deep sense of discipline, perseverance, and leadership — qualities that have become the foundation of her business philosophy.

Following her military service, Tamiko transitioned into the private sector, where she worked for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 defense contractors, including Bell Helicopter, DynCorp International, and Lockheed Martin.
Her expertise in aviation maintenance, government contracting, and defense services propelled her forward, leading her to establish Bailey’s Premier Services, a firm that provides aircraft maintenance and support services to the U.S. government and state/local agencies.
Building a Business that Uplifts Women
As a female CEO in a male-dominated industry, Tamiko understands the unique challenges that women face in business and leadership. She has made it her mission to uplift, mentor, and create opportunities for women, particularly in STEM fields, government contracting, and the defense sector.
Through her leadership at Bailey’s Premier Services, Tamiko has not only built a thriving business but also a workplace culture that values diversity, inclusion, and empowerment. She actively encourages women to pursue leadership roles, break industry barriers, and never settle for less than what they deserve.
Education and Mentorship: Keys to Empowerment
Tamiko’s commitment to education is evident in her own academic achievements. She holds:
