Barron Trump, Donald Trump's youngest son, has a net worth that is now larger than Melania's.

Melania Trump's net worth is nothing to sniff at, coming out to about $20 million, according to The Economic Times. However, her son, the 19-year-old NYU sophomore Barron Trump, has now surpassed her in terms of wealth. Thanks to his recent investments, his net worth is now estimated to be around $150 million.

Barron introduced his dad to cryptocurrency and digital wallets as Donald Trump was running for his second term. Trump joked about his lack of knowledge about digital wallets and crypto, saying that Barron had "four wallets or something."

This led to the Trump family co-founding World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a cryptocurrency company, in 2024, less than two months before the 2024 election. When Trump won, the company's token and StableCoin values increased drastically, earning the Trump family more than $1.5 billion.

Eric, Don Jr., and Barron together own 30 percent of the company, per Forbes. After the company surged in value, Barron's share came out to about $38 million. Barron's 2.25 billion World Liberty tokens are valued at about $45 million.

His net worth grew from deals made by World Liberty. Barron has already made about $80 million in token sales, according to Yahoo Finance. His token holdings have the potential to bring him another $525 million if sold.

Barron's tuition at the Stern School of Business at NYU comes out to $67,430 a year. With the money he made from cryptocurrency, he could pay that more than 2,200 times over.

From crypto investments alone, Donald Trump himself has gained $2 billion in the past year. Trump is now the 201st wealthiest person in the U.S., with $7.3 million to his name.
