In the second quarter of fiscal 2018, Sprint generated total net operating revenue of $8.4 billion—well above Wall Street analysts’ consensus estimate of $8.0 billion. Its top line rose ~6.4% YoY.
In the second quarter of fiscal 2017, Sprint’s total net operating revenue stood at $7.9 billion. A major driver of the YoY rise was a higher instance of equipment rentals.

In comparison, Verizon’s (VZ) total revenue rose ~2.8% YoY to reach $32.6 billion in the third quarter, while AT&T’s (T) total revenue rose ~15.3% YoY to reach $45.7 billion in the same period. T-Mobile’s (TMUS) total revenue rose ~8.2% YoY to reach $10.8 billion in the third quarter.
