How Are Visa’s Dividends Trending?

Visa’s (V) dividend distributions have been consistent over the past few quarters. In July 2017, the company announced quarterly dividends of $0.17 per share, which is the same as the last quarterly dividend announced in April 2017. The dividend announced in July 2017 will be paid on September 5, 2017. In fiscal 3Q17, the company repurchased 17.8 million common shares for a total $1.7 billion. Thus, price per share stood at $93.82. From October 2016 to June 2017, Visa has repurchased 59.2 million common shares for a total of $5.1 billion. Thus, price per share stood at $86.82.

In October 2016, Visa (V) declared quarterly dividends amounting to $0.16 per share. Since then, the company has been consistent in declaring the same dividend of $0.17 per share. The last quarterly dividend of $0.17 per share was declared in July 2017.
