Formed in 1998, Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) currently provides a whole array of midstream operations including:
- natural gas gathering, processing, transportation, and storage
- NGL (natural gas liquids) transportation, fractionation, storage, and export and import
- crude oil gathering, transportation, storage, and export and import
- petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage, and export and import
- marine transportation
Currently, Enterprise Products Partners’ assets include ~49,300 miles of pipelines, 260 MMbbls (million barrels) of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, petrochemicals, and refined products, and 14 Bcf (billion cubic feet) of natural gas storage capacity.
The company owns 25 natural gas processing plants, 22 fractionators, and ten condensate distillation facilities. It has export facilities to export ethane, LPG (liquefied petroleum gas), PGP (polymer grade propylene), crude oil, and refined products.

Enterprise Products Partners has more than 400 miles of pipelines under construction. Some of its other key projects under construction include a gas processing plant, a fractionator, a PDH (propane dehydrogenation), and an iBDH (isobutane dehydrogenation) facility.
Enterprise Products Partners carries out its operations through four reportable segments:
- NGL Pipelines & Services
- Crude Oil Pipelines & Services
- Natural Gas Pipelines & Services
- Petrochemical & Refined Products Services
