Adobe’s R&D expenses remained constant YoY in 3Q13 and 3Q14
In 3Q15, Adobe’s (ADBE) expenses for research and development (or R&D) increased to $219 million from $212 million in 3Q14 and $209 million in 3Q13.
Research and development expenses allocated comprised 17.98% of total revenues in 3Q15. In comparison, they comprised 21% and 21.09% of total revenues in 3Q13 and 3Q14, respectively.
Salesforce’s R&D expenses decreased as a percentage of revenues YoY in 3Q15
In 3Q15, the expenses for Salesforce (CRM) in research and development increased to $239 million from $195 million in 3Q14 and $171 million in 3Q13.
Research and development expenses allocated comprised 13.96% of total revenues in 3Q15. In comparison, they comprised 15.89% and 14.08% of total revenues in 3Q13 and 3Q14, respectively.
Autodesk’s R&D expenses were 33% of revenues in 3Q15
In 3Q15, the expenses for Autodesk (ADSK) in research and development have increased YoY (year-over-year) to $198 million from $184 million in 3Q14. These expenses increased in comparison to R&D expenses of $149 million in 3Q13.
