Tabloids were racing—pardon the pun—to report that former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick is dating Carter Comstock, a co-founder of the meal delivery service Freshly, especially after they became Instagram-official on April 16.
According to Us Weekly, the duo was set up by the co-founders of CBD wellness brand Beam, in which both Patrick and Comstock have invested.
If reports of their net worths are accurate, they have a 12-figure fortune between them!
Patrick discussed her Beam investment in a USA Today interview last year. “I hope that people trust me, especially at this point in my career where I’m past the days of needing a sponsor to go racing,” she said. “I’m very much in the stage of wanting to offer help and wanting to help people grow and help people feel their best mentally and physically.”
Read on for more details about Patrick and Comstock and their net worths.
Comstock has a reported net worth of $80 million.
The website ExactNetWorth.com reports that Comstock’s estimated net worth is $80 million. According to his LinkedIn profile, Comstock attended the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in business management. He spent two and a half years as a direct sales manager at ADP before co-founding Freshly in 2012.
“As co-founder and chief innovation officer at Freshly, Carter brings a passion for health and fitness combined with years of experience in business to the thriving fresh, ready-made meal delivery service,” his LinkedIn bio reads. “Carter discovered his enthusiasm for health and wellness early in life while watching his father, Dr. Frank Comstock, M.D., help people work to achieve optimal health. By staying on top of the latest healthy lifestyle trends, he and his team of chefs, food scientists, and wellness experts bring nutritious meals to thousands of homes every day.”
Patrick has the same estimated net worth.
Coincidentally (or not), Patrick’s net worth is also estimated to be $80 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Her official bio reveals that Patrick started her racing career at just 10 years old and competed in go-kart championships in her teen years.
In 2005, when she was 23 years old, Patrick finished fourth in the Indianapolis 500. She became the first woman to lead laps and to score a top-five finish in the annual race. She also earned the Rookie of the Year Award at that race.
Patrick transitioned to stock-car racing in 2011. She became the first woman to win a Cup Series pole position at the 2013 Daytona 500, and she set the record for women’s top-10 finishes in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2015. She capped off her racing career with the “Danica Double” in 2018, competing in both the Daytona 500 and the Indianapolis 500.
Along the way, Patrick has appeared in 14 Super Bowl commercials, all but one for the web hosting service GoDaddy.
These days, her bio says, Patrick is focusing on being an entrepreneur and business owner. In addition to her work with Beam, she’s also the founder of the Warrior clothing line and the sole proprietor of the California vineyard Somnium.
