A legal battle over the late billionaire Bruce Wasserstein's inheritance has taken an unexpected turn. Fifteen-year-old Sky, Wasserstein's daughter with mistress Erin McCarthy, is suing his five other children for more than $100 million, as per PageSix. Sky’s lawyers say that her step-siblings have repeatedly refused to give her a fair share of his estimated $2.3 billion estate.

Erin McCarthy had Sky with the ex-Lazard chairman before he died. Their second daughter, Rose, was born years after his death. Whereas four more female embryos remain on ice, court papers have revealed. The lawyers are also exploring how to gain legal rights for the four frozen embryos.

Wasserstein, who passed away in 2009, has six children from three relationships and a mistress. Rose was born in 2016, seven years after his death bringing the total number to seven. McCarthy claims that the late billionaire had agreed to raise all of his cryopreserved children with her.

Sky Wasserstein is suing her half-siblings for more than $100 million alleging that they conspired to stop her from getting her full inheritance. The legal battle is raising the possibility of further bitter litigation and might complicate the distribution of his multi billion-dollar estate in a lot of ways.
