In the past year, Flotek Industries’ (FTK) revenue share generated outside the United States has risen by nearly 10%. FTK’s revenue from international geographies rose to 25.3% of its total revenue in 2Q16, compared to 15.8% in 2Q15.
International rig count
By July 31, 2016, the international rig count had fallen by 16% compared to one year ago. This was lower compared to the United States, in which the rig count nearly halved in the year leading up to August 5, 2016.
FTK makes up 0.13% of the SPDR S&P 600 Small Cap ETF (SLY). The energy sector makes up 2.9% of SLY.
