Paris is yet again the best city to visit in the world, according to Euromonitor International’s Top 100 City Destinations Index 2023. Paris was followed by Dubai. Japan has also entered the top 10 list for the first time. It is mostly because of "improved developments in tourism infrastructure,” according to the report.

1. Paris, France

It's a well-known fact that Paris is one of the best cities to visit in the world, and the city saw more than 44 million tourists in 2023. Paris is also home to the most beautiful sites like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum. The city is also famous for being a fashion hub and is home to some of the greatest luxury brands in the world including, Chanel and Balenciaga. The cherry on the cake is the world-famous French cuisine.

Dubai stands out in all these sectors and has been a "magnet for both returning and first-time international tourists, as well as those seeking a stopover experience," per the report.
